Hi everyone,
Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on a new survey system to help you collect feedback from your customers directly through your store, without needing any external tools.
You’ll be able to create and manage surveys directly in the admin (under the mailing list section) which can be sent to customers by email.
You can create as many surveys as you like, but only one survey can be active at a time. A survey must also contain at least one question before it can be activated.
You can create different types of questions:
Text (long-form responses) Rating (which can go from 2 up to 10 stars) Multiple Options (either radio buttons for single choice or checkboxes for multiple choice)
Once a survey is set as active, you can include the %surveylink% replacement field in your emails. This will automatically generate a secure, unique survey link for each recipient.
Survey links are secure and single-use, therefore trying to reuse a link will show an error message Links expire automatically after 15 days (this can be adjusted to whatever time prefered)
You can preview any survey before sending it, so you can check exactly how it will look for your customers.
Survey results are available in the admin and can be viewed as:
Individual responses Summary data, including: most selected options response distribution number of responses average rating (for rating questions)
You can modify any question after creation, but keep in mind that if responses already exist, changes may make previous answers harder to interpret.
All survey tools will be located in the admin under Mailing List -> See Surveys, where you can:
