Due to the ability for scammers to rotate through IPs using VPN and other tools, there needs to be the ability to block all IPs related to an attempted zip code on delivery.

Yesterday, I was hit with more than 250 attempts. Today, more than 500. There were at least fifty separate IPs involved from within CONUS and around the world.

This has taken up way too much of my time and I'm more than pissed off about it.

I've renamed my cart so they cannot get access for the time being.

So, add the ability to block sales related to a zip code. You can build in the ability to set a time limit on how long that zip code would be blocked. A period of 48 to 72 hours should be good for most to give up.

There is a feature to block by email address, so is that consistent?
You know you can turn on re-captcha for your cart as well, so that might be a good option.

We get occasional floods of bogus order attempts, but most appear to be from crawlers like Google trying to verify website performance and shipping costs.

Those bogus orders are always Unauthorized and can be deleted without much effort.

We do have a few repeated, return-fraud buyers going for a "free tool rental," so we use DLSS' Repeat Customer Indicator (https://www.dlss.ca/proddetail.asp?prod=RCI) to check email addresses, and sometimes check order phone numbers against our call history.

I can see our $200 plumbing tools as potential targets for "free rental" return fraud, but hopefully your aviation supplies don't get the same treatment.

A week later we got hit again with about 150 or orders. I’ve renamed the payment screen file.

Yea, all of those will have the same name - John Smith.
Whatever you do, do not block John's IP addresses or you will also be blocking the google search engine bot.
It cost me a few hundred thousand dollars to learn that lesson. Yes, six figures...

@Ken, if we knew more about these orders, we may be able to help you block them.
Let us know if there is anything consistent like email, IP address and such.
