I have created a category for my VIP customers and made it so that only login level 3 people can see it.

It all works as it should except that the products I have added as still showing up for non logged in customers one the home screen where I have 'Our newest products' displayed. What do I need to change so that the latest products only shows items appropriate to the customer viewing them?

Hi Gemma
This will work on the actual category that a product is in, but not products that are added to that category as "Additional Sections" so could that be the problem?

No, it's just one item. It's only in one category and that category is set to login level 3. No additional sections.

It's my www.memorialjewelleryblanks.co.uk website. The offending product is the gold heart on the front page.

If a non logged in customer clicks it, it does say not available, so they can't buy it. But I'd rather they couldn't see it at all.

You can target it with CSS it put display:none; on the home page.

I've fixed this now Gemma and the problem was that the display was just simply pulling products from the database without checking if they were disabled or not. But you need the latest updater I'm afraid and a new copy of the ect-widgets plugin from here...

I think your idea is good, Marshall, but it's difficult to do optionally if the customer is logged in or not.
