Hello
based in the uk and we are struggling with international post
all our international post now requires us to add import duties before it leaves uk

can someone look at an update for code for this please maybe an update we can load in
i am not great with this
ie example postage to usa requires a 10% import Levey cost we need to have the option to pre pay levey or for them to pay when they recieve it

Hi Ian
Are you using Royal Mail rates then? If so, this will be set up using Weight Based shipping so could you not just edit the values in the Postal Zones admin page?

Hi wince we have got a weight based system just setting a price for the weight
no specific carrier

we use the right carrier for the different locations so we have set it in the states ie usa has a price row has a price europe has a price etc

Are you saying then that what you want to do is add 10% of the price of the goods? If that's the case, could you use the country tax in the countries admin page to add that rate for the USA?

hi for example i would like to ofer 2 services royal mail tracked for usa and ups or fedex so people can choose the slower or fast option
but now in the uk they want you to pay the import duties our end so it makes it easier to go through customs
thus the postage may be £12 but the impot duty will be 10 % of the item cost

thus a £100 item will incur 10% import and a £5 handeling fee

a lot of uk have stopped posting to usa due to the problem

This zone is set to use

shipping method(s) such as "Standard", "Express", "2nd Day Air", etc.
For every
0.5
above the highest weight...
...add an extra
2.99
for Fedex
