There seems to be a critical fix coming at 1400 GMT today for the PHP language. I imagine that most hosting providers will apply critical fixes automatically but older, unsupported versions of PHP may need to be updated to newer versions.

The shopping cart is compatible with all current PHP releases but we generally recommend the penultimate supported version. For instance, currently PHP 8.5 and 8.4 are actively supported so we would recommend using PHP 8.4.

Please note, this is not a vulnerability of the shopping cart but rather with the PHP language. However you may need to update the shopping cart to make sure you have compatibility with newer PHP versions.
