The custom fields are a great facility. Is there a way to populate a custom field from within the includes.php file that will show on every product, rather than having to add the necessary to every product through the admin file?

What I'm getting at is the line of code for the Add This social media buttons which is common to every product.

If not, then making the custom fields available via the Quick Entry facility in the admin would help considerably.

Hi Steve

There isn't a feature to populate them from elsewhere I'm afraid.

try this in your includes
$customquickupdate="pCustom1";

Changing the number there to the field you want.

Steve,

Use a CSV upload. You can do a quick copy/paste of the necessary code into the custom field then upload it through the product admin.
