Hosting Recommendations

Posted - 03/12/2018 : 15:59:40 After speaking to your sales team, I was told I need my hosting to support TLS 1.2, PHP 7.1, and MySql 6.85. I am having a hard time find any kind of reasonable hosting that supports these. Does anyone have a hosting suggestion? Thanks Frank

I've a few clients who have hosted their sites with cheap hosting outfits & yes they have been very poor on knowledge & apalling at reply times. Those clients are all now with Krystal! All my own clients are hosted with https://krystal.io/. On the occasion I call upon their tech support, via support ticket, their answers have been spot-on & within less than 20-30 minutes. Ticket, live chat & telephone support, yes, a REAL human at the end of a phone line are all available in a clients hosting area. Buy cheap, buy twice

We use two web hosts: SERVELINK for our production environment, and dirt-cheap IONOS for test sandboxes and parked domains. Over the past few years, SERVELINK has been rock-solid and hassle-free. By contrast, IONOS has been a constant headache - frequently sending us misleading security warnings and upsell spam for services we don't need. When we submit a support ticket to SERVELINK, we consistently get timely, competent responses from U.S.-based reps. With IONOS, we get overseas reps who either don't understand the request or lack the skills and motivation to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
