Hi All,

I would like to change the starting invoice number for the new site at a higher value than the default setting as I am splitting my current site into two defined websites. Can this be done and if so where do I find the code to change this as I would like to change it from 501 to something like 5001.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards
Paul

Hi Paul,
The only way you can increase that value is by directly editing the database.

1. Login to your hosting control panel and click on phpmyadmin
2. Choose the database from the left column and then click on the orders table
3. Click on 'operations' and set the auto increment value to the value you wish, then click 'go'

There's no going back after doing this, and the value must be set higher than your last order number.
