Hello,
I haven't been able to find where to edit the css to completely remove the top/bottom menu padding for the green bar: [url]https://www.shopstoneage.com/index.php[/url]

I've inspected it and edited styles in [url]https://www.shopstoneage.com/stylenew.css[/url] and [url]https://www.shopstoneage.com/css/megastyle.css[/url], but I still have 1 pixel of green showing above and 4px beneath the words.

I would the top menu to ultimately end up like this: [url]http://cismiami.org/[/url]

I don't see any padding at all in the top menu - have you forced a fresh Ctrl+Refresh?

I've refreshed, but I'm still seeing the 1 px above and 4 px below the text. The 1 px is more obvious when the submenu appears. Here's a screenshot: [url]https://www.shopstoneage.com/images/_menupadding.png[/url]

I removed
[code]line-height:1em[/code] from megastyle.css in this section:

[code].menu > ul > li a {
text-decoration: none;
padding:0 1.8em;
margin:0;
display: block;
color:#fff;
} [/code]
That made it so when you mouse over the navigation, the 1 px green border is gone from the top and the gray and green line up. However, I haven't figured out how to get rid of the 4 pixels of green that appear under the gray when you mouse over the nav items...

Rather than removing that have you tried setting it to lower eg

line-height:0.8em
