Generally the list of files updated are in the notes here - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=20
Except major releases and those really need all files updated.

Use a file compare program to make custom edits, merging with new versions a breeze.
I use winmerge, and Vince has a great post here - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=89323&SearchTerms=file,compare

That was a major update so we don't list file changes between those as most files will have changed. There's some helpful suggestions here from Vince https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=89323

ok I think I'm nearly there tbh

One thing that I'm having issues with is the dynamic navigation (the update has messed the layout up )

<% menustyle="horizontalmenu1" %>

i have some custom CSS to get it looking how I needed it to, I converted incmenu.asp file back to the older version and this has corrected the issue it BUT im worried doing this will affect something else?

Regards
Jamie

It will be a headache for future updates so much better to change the css now with the new Incmenu file. We can help if you need it.

There's really no need to do that, I would reinstate the latest inc/incmenu.asp file from the updater files and correct the css so it displays correctly.

Your css code will need updating. Put the correct file back and post the url and I'll take a look for you

Hi Jamie,
If you replace the contents of your file 'dynamic_nav_styles.css' with the following below and then just edit the colours and code to suit you'll find it'll function fine

ul.ectmenu1 {
list-style: none;
border:0px solid;
color:#ffffff;font:bold 14px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
padding:0px;
}
li.ectmenu1 {
border:1px solid;
padding:4px;
background-color: #e69d01;
text-align:left;
}
li.ectmenu1 a{
color: #fff;
padding:4px;
}
li.ectmenu1 a:hover{
color: #333;
padding:4px;
}
