The non-logged in customer visiting bdav.asp would be directed to the client login page with the login pop-up displaying, if they log in and have a login level of 1 they are then automatically taken back to the protected page where they can see the products and pricing.

Hi Andy,

How do I assign this login level 1 to clients?

I am logged in but probably not assigned level 1.

Manually via the client login admin page where you could modify the customer account so they have a login level of 1.

If all people setting up new accounts should be assigned a login level, you can do that through includes.asp https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/ecommplus/parameters.asp#loginlevel

Hi Andy,

This worked well. I knew I am missing a step.

Is there some way I can ask BDAV people to enter a code and specify that code in includes.asp to automatically assign login level 1?

Just for knowledge, do I understand it correctly that if I have 10 such groups, I can assign then Login Level 1, 2, 3, and so on till 10.

Regards

There isn't a code they can enter, they would have to be assigned a login level and log in.

If you set up`multiple login levels the customers would have access to levels equal and less than their level, for example somebody with a login level of 3 would also have permission to see those with 1 and 2 as well.

Hi Andy,

Is there some way I can have 3 groups of people, with each group set up with a different discount level.

I can create separate price list for each group. The only thing is only the group members should see the price applicable to them.

I can't see a way of having three separate groups that couldn't access pages from other groups I'm afraid.
