I have multiple WordPress sites using ECT. Now that they have all updated to WP version 5.2, I'm getting an error message on the dashboard telling me: "WordPress has detected that your site is running on an insecure version of PHP." All these sites are running PHP version 5.6. When I try to update the PHP version to 7.0 or 7.1 - the site crashes..nothing just a blank white page. As soon as I revert back to PHP 5.6 - the site comes back with no issues. I've tried removing all other plugs, I've tried reverting back to the stock WP theme - same problem. All my WordPress sites that do NOT use ECT have been upgraded to PHP 7.1 with no issues at all. All of these sites are on the same hosting server.

I'm using Ecommerce Plus PHP v7.0.2

You will only need to update your site to a newer version. ECT has been compatible with 7.x.x for some time. You may also need to fix your connection string in the db_conn_open if you are on a relatively new version.

I see you updated your post to include your ECT version.

Be sure to update your db_conn_open file as per the post I shared.

It was the db_conn_open file - as you suggested it might be.
