After my Firefox browser has updated to version 69.0, the quick entry fields on categories, products and options admin pages no longer work... They are stuck on whatever setting they have been left on. I tested on another machine that hasn't updated yet and it works fine. Once that machine did the update, same thing happened. I think we need a fix ASAP on this one.

Please help, there are many hours added in product data if I have to go into each and every product, category or option 1 by 1 on many sites.

I forgot to add that this is on the 64 bit version of Firefox.

Hi Tim
I see what you mean and I'm looking into this now. But in the meantime are you able to use Chrome for the data input? Things seemt to be working there still.

Yes, I can use Chrome as a temporary fix, it's just not my browser of choice. Let us know when you have something figured out.
Much appreciated.

Here is an observation I just discovered as well... On version 6.7.1 The quick entry fields are still working on Firefox.

***SOLVED***

I figured out how to make the Quick Entry fields work again...

- In Firefox, go to Tools>Options
- Click on "Privacy & Security"
- Under the "Cookies and Site Data" section click on the button that says "Manage Data"
- Use the search bar to search for the domain you are working on
- Click on "Remove Selected"

Alternatively, if you want to clear all cookies and site data from everything, then all you need to do is click on "Remove All"
Now everything will work again.

Good one Tim.
Firefox is becoming very aggressive with blocking things.
Some of that is good, but will cause issue for the casual user.

This has been driving me nuts! Thanks for sharing the workaround, Tim!
