I am currently trying to restore our website from a failed update. We went from 7.0.5 to 7.1.6 and had an issue with administration area of website. The page displayed normal areas all over the place and upon logout, still displayed the admin page but with the login box within one of the order boxes and the rest of the boxes with code inside of them. Customers couldn't purchase anything either. Now the site is completely down and we are restoring.

The errors in the log refer to:

Any suggestions as to what went wrong?

We have officially updated to the 7.1.6 version!
The issue I described was caused by our firewall which caches our pages for faster display to end users. Disabling the firewall made the update go as expected.
A side note though..we tried to change our PHP version to 7.3 and had an issue with product images not actually saving during upload. Reducing the PHP version to 7.1 resolved this.
