Blank page after adding Products to Cart

Posted - 10/16/2019 : 09:56:42 Hi, We have a theme that we are working on for the new site and we have an issue when we Add products to the cart. This happens both during "Quickbuy" and "Add to Cart" Buttons. When we add a product to the cart and then click on "Continue Shopping" we get a blank Dark screen and the page itself gets posted inside the "View Cart" DIV. After Adding a Product the page gets loaded into the DIV "ectdp_minicartmainwrapper_ct" and it stays blank. Sinbad ECT Moderator USA 65936 Posts	Posted - 10/16/2019 : 12:31:59 Hi, can you try moving these to links down just above the closing </head> tag after <link href="css/ectstyle2.css" rel="stylesheet" /> <link href="css/ectcart.css" rel="stylesheet"> <script src="js/ectcart.js"></script> Also there does seem to be 2 closing </div> tags that have no corresponding opening tags. they also showed up on the validator https://validator.w3.org/ Winners never quit, quitters never win CSS and Responsive Designs User Manual for Ecommerce Templates

dbdave ECT Moderator USA 10269 Posts	Posted - 10/16/2019 : 20:55:14 It's an odd thing there for sure. I am guessing some conflict. Maybe with javascript. I would make a copy of the page and strip away bits (Testing the page along the way.) until you are left with just the needed include lines to render the page. In short order you should come across the culprit.

Vince Administrator 42455 Posts	Posted - 10/17/2019 : 04:07:15 I tried on my local machine here and it seemed to work fine which is strange. What I would try as a test is just have a products page with the minimum <head><body> tags, ectcart css and js etc, and the cart includes. Then see if the problem still happens and that way we can see if it is something in the cart or in one of the other elements of the page that is provoking this.
