Hi,
Good afternoon I just trying to upload a new template that we purchased little while back in this is the error message I'm getting. Can somebody please advise when I need to do?

Here is our file name on the website software 0003pr00grb0089

Microsoft Access Database Engine error '80004005'

'C:\yoursite\dbfolder\vsproducts.mdb' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.

/vsadmin/inc/languagefile.asp, line 13

Thanks Dan

The path used should be set to where the database actually is. That path below is the sample path. I assume you do not have the database in a folder called yoursite\dbfolder\. Replace the path with the actual path on your server.

Hi Dan, this is going to be (just as the error suggests) an invalid path to your database.

Can you ask your host what the path should be?

Thanks,
David

Here's a response back from my hosting company - They say that the past should be:
path removed by admin\vsproducts.mdb
Not too sure what I need to do next please advise.

Thanks again for all that you do, Dan

Hi, there is some help in the link Phil posted.
Basically you need to open the file, db_conn_open.asp (located in the vsadmin folder) in your html editor and set that path according to instructions.
Then upload the changed file to the server.

ECT does offer a site setup service if you decide you want to have it setup for you.
