 Clone product does not copy minimum order quantity

Hi,

I noticed that when cloning a product with a minimum quantity set, the minimum quantity does not get carried over to the new product. Could this be added please?

I see what you are saying and that would be true of the values that can only be set in the Quick Entry. At the same time I'm not sure if it would be correct to set these values without you really knowing. I'll have a think about it.

Thanks Vince. It seemed to me that a 'clone' would be just that - same as the original item, including the minimum purchase quantity and any other attributes.

Most of the values set via quick entry can be set on the main product admin screen as well. Is there a reason that the minimum quantity is set only via quick entry rather than a field on the product admin screen?

Hi Ellen
There are some values that can only be set via the Quick Update and those are not set when a product is cloned. I think there is a case for only setting values that can be "seen" when you clone. In the long term what should be done is a redesign of the products page so that all these extra values fit but till then I think it may be better if you could bear this in mind when cloning and then set the values via the quick update.
