This seems to be a perennial problem for me. I'm trying to set up a discount that's similar to a quantity discount, for an entire category. It works in individual products, but not with any discount method I've tried to apply to the category. Here's the individual one:

1: $10
2: $9 each
3: $8 each
4+: $7 each

I can't seem to populate the discount/coupon fields to make that work, though. Is there any way around this? Do I need to create a set of discounts for the price ranges? E.g. if they hit $20 in that category, I take $2 off; $30 takes off $6; $40 takes off $12? That only works up to $40, though, or I'd need to set up a discount for each multiple of $10.

Any ideas to work around this? Thank you, and I hope everyone is well!

Years ago, I was able to do this with percentage discounts. I wanted it so customers could "mix and match" in a specific category.
If you work the math, you can probably come close to the discount you are wanting to achieve.
