Hi,

I just have enabled Stripe and have these doubts:

1.When I tried it,after selecting credit card, it took me to a tiny window to fill again the street, city and zip code. After filling that, it then took me to another tiny window to fill the details for the card.
The questions are these:
Why is asking me to fill the address if I already have filled it in the checkout page from the store? Why is not taking the address automatically?
It is a nuisance to copy the address twice.

and, Do I have to switch on the "Client only integration?

2. When the shopping cart gave the thankyou page in .../thanks.php, it shows nothing on the subtotal and Grand total. so, how to fix this?



Another question is that I saw in Stripe the you can upload the logo and see a checkout page very nice. How come I cannot see that? I am just seeing a tiny window.

That doesn't sound right at all to tell you the truth. I just enabled Stripe here and after the cart shipping totals page I click "Pay with card" and get taken to the stripe website where I get to put in the card number, name on card and my country, that's all. In the payment providers admin page, do you have the "New SCA-Ready Stripe Checkout" selected?

It's in the integration method drop down menu in the ECT payment provider admin.
What version of the ECT software are you on?

Hi,

it is the 7.2.1

Where is the integration dropdown menu?
I don't see any "Integration method" menu

I don't have it in my Admin provider's menu. The ones I have are these in version 7.2.1 (in Stripe, of course):

Handling Charge :
Handling Charge (Percentage) :
Email Headers / Footers :
Drop Shipper Email Headers / Footers :

Why it does not show here?

Follow the instructions below in your Stripe dashboard & once the instructions have been followed you should the see them in your admin as Phil has posted at the following link - https://paste.pics/A856T NOTE - *** You will have to wait until the methods have gone live before they do show

Enabling additional local European payment methods.

In the latest release ECT have included the ability for customers to use local payment methods like iDEAL (Holland), Bancontact (Belgium), Giropay (Germany), Przelewy24 (Poland), EPS (Austria), FPX and BACS Debit.

To enable these payment methods you must first go to your Stripe.com dashboard and click on Settings in the left hand menu and then under Business Settings -> Payments and payouts click on Payment methods.

*** After enabling in your Stripe.com dashboard you must wait until the payment method is live before going to your ECT admin Payment Providers area for Stripe and enabling the payment method there.

It does seem strange however that there is no "Integration Method" or "Payment Methods" between the "Store Name" and "Transaction Type". You are on v7.2.1 and Stripe was already integrated in that version and you should see those settings. But just to make sure, why not update to v7.2.3 and that will make sure you have the latest versions of the scripts, and if they still don't show we can go from there?

Hi Vince,

Thanks for the updating.
After I selected the option "New SCA-Ready Stripe Checkout", on the option "Integration Method" (in stripe payment options), it is possible to see the big screen for stripe payments and not the tiny ones that I was seeing.

And yes, it was somehow a question of keeping to the latest updater.

Hi,

Now there is a new problem with stripe payments.
My client is using shipstation and when using Stripe payment with credit cards, the shipsation has no order at all.
They can't import any order from the store site,because the stripe order does not have item detail description.
It is an order item detail problem with stripe.
