The v7.2.4 updater is now available for ASP / PHP.
The following changes have been made...

Please note that you can upgrade from any previous version to the latest version in just one go! You don't have to install all updaters between your version and the current version.

Order importing and Shipping Status updates have been added for the Shipstation system. You can find more out about ShipStation here...
https://www.shipstation.com/
This is a very simple, effective and cost saving method to get competitive shipping rates and to print shipping labels.

Our admin section has been given a makeover by top Canadian designer, Guy Fortier . . . and we thank him very much indeed for his efforts!

One of the main focuses of this update has been to redesign the cart CSS to move away from floated design elements where possible and you more robust and up to date layout that won't fall apart so easily. This also means that we can now include the CSS for the Premium Responsive Design as standard with the updater. That's right!! What was once a Premium Priced product is now part of the core cart. The other advantage of this method is that fixes and improvements for the product, detail, quick buy and base style sheets can be included in the updater in the same way as for instance, the ectcart.css file.
There are more details about using the Premium Responsive styles with v7.2 here...

We've made some important changes so that non-existent categories throw a "404 Not Found" order status. This is important as previously for a non-existent category all products were displayed and Google could view this as duplicate content.

The Home Page Slider and Mega Menu Javascript is included with this release as with the v7.1 stability release. More details for these features are available here...

The system for image uploading has been overhauled to allow for larger images in a quicker upload time.

A very important problem has been fixed where IPv6 addresses could be translated to the same IPv4 address meaning using the IP blocking system could block many IP addresses inadvertently.

A formatting problem has been fixed on the payment processor checkout results page.

Support has now been added to the cart for the eWay Rapid payment processor API.

Improvements have been made to the layout of the admin and orders tables which can solves errors when using certain types of mySQL database.

There is an important fix in this version which can cause the state to appear in orders as a number rather than a state name.

Stripe.com now allows you to select local payment processors like ideal, bancontact, giropay, etc.

Braintree now has support added for Google Pay and Venmo.

An important bug has been fixed where ship free goods was not reset between the different cart windows so if the customer had saved carts or wish lists then the tax total could sometimes be calculated incorrectly.

The categories admin section now allows you to set Category Restrictions / Disable Category in the Quick Update.

Some legitimate USPS tracking numbers were not being properly recognized and this has now been fixed.

In the email receipt, the label for digital downloads is now formatted in the same way as the rest of the labels.

An error has been fixed on the product detail page when using gift certificates or donations.

For the ASP version support has been added for Persits MailSender email TLS mode.

The latedownload page is now taken account of when using digital downloads and the Wordpress version.

The latest version of PHP Mailer has been included

We've released a Hotfix today to resolve the following issues...

One important change for the v7.2.4 release was to remove duplicate content from the search engines by properly throwing a "404 Not Found" status when a category name was incorrect. However we missed the possibility that stores may be using Category ID's in cases where they had actually set the store to use the Category Name or SEO URL's. The effect of the update would be to not display these pages and throw a 404. This hotfix will alter the behaviour so that in this case the store will still display products and will not generate a 404 UNLESS the Category ID cannot be found either. If the parameter...
seourlsthrow301=TRUE
$seourlsthrow301=TRUE;
...is used, Category ID's will forward to the correct form of the URL throwing a "301 Moved Permanently" status to indicate to Google and the other search engines where the content should be found. This behaviour is the same if SEO URL's or just the usecategoryname / $usecategoryname parameter is used to use the category name instead of the ID.

The mini drop down cart is now part of the updater as previously discussed, and many improvements have been made. However one of these means that if Font Awesome glyphs are used in the drop down mini cart they could result in visible code in the drop down cart, and this hotfix resolves this issue.

We've released a Hotfix today to resolve the following issues...

If you have a manufacturers page and are not using SEO URLs then the manufacturer links may be incorrectly pointing to a category and not to a manufacturer, meaning that incorrect products will be displayed.
