Hello,
I am trying to make sure that I fully understand the meaning of the category names and numbers used in the products list.
I have attached a two column list and in the second column I have inserted a suggested understanding or where there is a question mark, a clarification.
I have attached a jpg and a zip file. The zip file I believe will open when it arrives and will make any entries easier.

Perhaps there is something already created?

The blanks in your spreadsheet seem to be...

pDisplay
...that column is set to 1 if the product is to be displayed. Zero otherwise.

pSell
...that column is set to 1 if the product is to be sold (ie has a buy button). Zero otherwise.

pExemptions
...if the product is shipping exempt, state tax exempt, country tax exempt. You'll see these on the admin products page under "Exemptions".

The rest you seem to have spot on.

PStockByOpts - Set to either 0 or 1 for setting stock by options if using inventory management. You can leave it blank too.

POrder - A numerical value - sets the order in which your products show - can be left blank too

PSearcParams - additional search terms for your products - customers use your search on your site - these would be words that might not be in your product name or description.

PStaticUrls - If you are using static pages with custom URL's - leave blank if not using static pages...

Difference between pName and pDescription? NAME = Your product name - DESCRIPTION = Product short description
