Hi John
You could do that and then use DW to upload them to your website. Or you could just upload them directly to your website.

You also need to run updatestore.php in your browser to update the database. That will fix it.

For clarification.
Is phpplusupdate_7.2.5_ uploaded complete with files and directories inside or do these files and directories get uploaded separately?
Thanks
John

Hi, here are the steps to updating your store - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/updater_info.asp#steps

Here is a video too - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/updater_info.asp#video

That should point you in the right direction.

Hello David,
I am trying to open
http://fb-design.co.uk/phpplusupdate_v7.2.5_/updatestore.php
but get this error message:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_query() in /homepages/37/d415519235/htdocs/fb-design/phpplusupdate_v7.2.5_/updatestore.php:53 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/37/d415519235/htdocs/fb-design/phpplusupdate_v7.2.5_/updatestore.php(4390): ect_query('SELECT payProvE...') #1 {main} thrown in /homepages/37/d415519235/htdocs/fb-design/phpplusupdate_v7.2.5_/updatestore.php on line 53

Line 53 is
return(@$GLOBALS['ectdatabase']?$GLOBALS['ectdatabase']->query($ectsql):mysql_query($ectsql));

btw I have changed the name of the index page temporarily.
Can you see where I am going wrong please?
Thanks
John

Hi John,

The updatestore.php should be in the directory root where your index.php file is
Then you would browse to http://fb-design.co.uk/updatestore.php

You don't want to be uploading the directory phpplusupdate_v7.2.5_, you just need to upload the contents of that directory such as the vsadmin directory, js, css
