Hello,

My site has been on a Windows 2008 dedicated server for almost 10 years and I am looking to move my site to a server with Windows 2019. I have been advised that the database may not work with new Windows software as the latest version if MS Access uses the.accdb extension.

My database however is still the .mdb extension as it was when I purchased ECT 10 years ago.

Please can anyone offer any advice with regards to this.

Hi there
What I understand is that you need to install the MS Access database drivers...

But, another alternative is to upsize the database to MS SQL Server. The Express Edition is now free to install on windows servers.
