Hi, just a quick question,
I am building and configuring a new website running the latest PHP v7.3.7.002 and was trying to get the
Checkout button to appear on [brown]proddetail.php[/brown] using the includes.php parameter:
[font=Courier New][green]
$detailpagelayout[/green]="productimage, productname, navigation, dateadded, sku, description, socialmedia, manufacturer, options, listprice, discounts, price, quantitypricing, quantity, addtocart,
[maroon]checkoutbutton[/maroon], previousnext";[/font=Courier New]
But no checkout button appears
Checked the [url="https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp#csslayout"][blue]PHP Parameters page[/blue][/url] which still says [maroon]checkoutbutton[/maroon] is a valid element for the [green]$detailpagelayout[/green] parameter.
Then opened 7.3.7.002 version of
[brown]incproddetail.php[/brown] and Beyond Compared that to previous versions ... to discover at line 521:
[font=Courier New][navy]function[/navy] [green]
pddcheckoutbutton[/green](){
// Not used now}[/font=Courier New]
So omitting the option for a Checkout button on Product Detail pages was deliberate. But was there some particular reason why Vince ?
