I lost my password to login to the console, looks encrypted in the DB file. How do I recover?

In version 6.1 the password is hashed and following multiple unsuccessful login attempts you will be locked out of the control panel in which case you will need to download this reset password file, (https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/freedownloads/password-asp.zip) unzip and upload password.asp to the root of your store. When you open that in your browser, you will be able to reset your password. This file can also be used to remove reCaptcha if you have entered an incorrect Secret Key and are unable to log into your admin.

It is imperative that you delete the file from your server following use.
