Is there a way to just have someone click, click and click on products and then AND ONLY THEN when they click on a cart menu button, they will see the cart?

Hi Terry
Don't you see the soft cart popup when you add to cart? You shouldn't normally see the cart itself unless you click on "Edit Order" in the Soft Cart.

I've taken the pop up functionality off and went with the old way.

What I mean is when I click ADD TO CART, I don't want it to go and show the cart. I want the customer only to see the cart when a menu button is clicked and it forces the cart.php to open.

I can't seem to find the information on this functionality.

Would this help my situation?

Hi, no that will not do what you want.
The closest is the soft cart, and that allows the customer to choose to stay and keep shopping, or go to the cart.

If you want to change the wording on the soft cart, that is possible.

Thanks David. That's not really what I wanted... still figuring out something to work the way I need it to.

I've see that on some websites, and I think some (websites) are more suited to that than others. Perhaps make a post in the suggestions forum so it will be there when they are looking for new ideas to add to the cart.
