In the exemptions list in product admin it would be extremely useful to have each postal zone selectable for exclusion.

We ship mainly within the UK but occasionally to Europe or worldwide.
This works well until we encounter a ‘large’ product. The customer is able to complete checkout to send to any zone as we use weight based shipping throughout the store. For example, a 2m long product may be fine to ship within the UK but is not feasible for us to ship to Greece or Canada at a sensible cost.

At present we have to contact the customer, cancel that order and issue a refund.

The ability to exclude a product from a shipping zone, thus preventing the completion of the sale during checkout, perhaps with some type of explanatory pop up message would be ideal.

Many thanks ,

Steve

I agree that this would be useful as we also sell some large items for which international shipping is not practical. To overcome this I set weight limits on the international postal zones and make sure the weights of the excluded items are set above this limit. This generally works but is not ideal as larger orders for small items can unintentionally be excluded if they go over the weight limit. It would also be useful if there was some way to manually enter a shipping cost for large orders.
