Firstly, have you got the Froala editor installed for the admin?

Yes, it is free. Head to https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/free_downloads.asp#htmleditor & download the Froala editor & set it up. Should take 5 minutes. Once you have Froala setup then once you enter the admin click in the the product description & you will see the HTML editor across the top of the text area. Froala always opens in regular mode. As you can see from my screenshot below there is an Insert Video icon & that icon is only available when the editor is in regular mode, not code view mode which is the </> icon second left All you need to do is input the URL of the video you want to show. Which version number of the ECT software are you on? Which version of the software - ASP or PHP?
UPDATE
If you are on PHP then a module may not be enabled in your web hosting control panel.
I've checked 6 of the ECT stores I manage & the Insert Video icon is visible & works on all of them. All store are running a minimum of the following
MySQL Version: 10.3.35-MariaDB-log-cll-lve
PHP Version: 7.4.30
ECT Vesrion: 7.5

I can't say for sure & I have looked on the forum, & if memory serves me correctly I think when the ASP version became available Vince mentioned that the ASP version of the Froala editor is not as feature packed as the PHP version.
I would await Vince dropping in later & hopefully seeing this whereby he can throw more light on the situation.
