Friday, for about 30 minutes, customers could not enter payments at the website.
It started working again after about 30 minutes.
Today, after about two hours of being down, it started working again.
I have been on the phone, going in circles with the square folks when I noticed it's working again.

Is anyone else using square and noticed this issue?

We notice the form (payment) entry fields look different (smaller) and you cannot type anything in the fields, when it's broken.

Today, we had about 40 orders effected - many folks called in and we took payments via virtual terminal. Other orders, we likely lost.

Having exact same issue - have not had sale for 4 days and customer brought this to our attention. There is no way to input a card number and the Master Class button and G Pay buttons do not display any longer. I forced them to display but they were not active. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Square has discontinued the API that's being used.
They "say" they have notified folks, but I never received anything.
The solution is to replace the API with their newer version and I have been in communication with the folks at ECT and I believe they are working on it.

The people at square (support) asked for my ID and they were going to try to add me to a list as an exception for a few days so it would continue to work, but so far that has not happened.

I still had my old Paypal integration in there and just activated it and that's getting me by for now.

There are changes now in the v7.4 and v7.5 updaters to address this problem. The files you need are...

There will be another update as soon as possible to get the GooglePay, Apple Pay and Masterpass functions going again.
