Hi All,

Im trying to setup a Windows 2022 Test Server with IIS, and the MS Access Drivers in order to have a localhost setup for my ECT Templates.

Everything seems to be working ok, I can open the home page, browse, etc.

The only thing I cant seem to do is to change the login.asp password for the mystore admin login.

Problem:

• Unable to change mystore admin password when accessing the login.asp page.


• Error I recieve is: An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator. If you are the system administrator please click here to find out more about this error.


• Then the link refers to issues with Classic ASP not Installed. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/application-frameworks/running-classic-asp-applications-on-iis-7-and-iis-8/classic-asp-not-installed-by-default-on-iis

Troubleshooting:

• I have checked and verified that Classic ASP and ISAPI Extentions are installed under the Application Develoment Tab, I checked and installed everything under the tab.


• I installed the MS Access X64 Drivers, NOT the 32 bit version as I would have to unistall my entire MS X64 Office.

Any suggestions on what this issue might be?

If all you can't do is change the password it may well be that the directory that the database is in doesn't have write permissions. Could you see if that's the case? It's not the database itself but rather the directory as Windows needs to write a lock file to that directory.

Hi All wanted to provide update and solution that was provided.

Prior to setting up database and then loging into the login page first time with default username mystore. In my case I had the following issues.

---Databse Folder permissions were not set correctly, needed both read/write perms.
---Unable to change or add users to the Admin Panel. This can only be done with default admin mystore username.
