Im at a loss. The site was not loading correctly. I contacted the host and received the below info. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems and I can't get access to the site but FTP seems to still be up. And in the error logs I get this...

It looks in part like you can't get access to your database (I removed a couple of the settings there) but you really, really need to push your host to help you with this as I don't think there is a lot I can do from here.

this all started with the site being slow to almost unresponsive. I believe I inadvertently changed the store db password by mistake. Its back but still ultra slow or a "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" error

Not that I know of. It just started this past weekend. I came in on Monday and there were fewer orders than normal. I couldn't get into the admin without continually having to reload the page.

Looks up now, but the forum is dead.

I took down the forum, Im going to upgrade to the latest version.
They found a bunch of bots attacking the site, they banned the ips. But said it's temporary and wants me to join Cloudflare. I signed up, I just dont want to screw it up and take the site down again for 4 days.

Below is the email from the host.

The core problem is Apache connection exhaustion — the site receives more simultaneous requests than Apache can handle under current limits.
