Minimum Cost For Insurance

mafluet New Member USA 72 Posts	Posted - 07/25/2025 : 05:43:35 Hi, UPS covers up to $100 for our orders, which makes shipping insurance unnecessary until a customer's total exceeds $100. Is there a way to set a minimum cost on an order for shipping insurance to be applied for UPS? Otherwise, some customers may end up spending more money than necessary. We can set a blurb somewhere in the checkout process to inform people at the very least, but I wasn't sure if there was some type of functionality built in to replicate this. Thanks, Mike

That is, in the ECT Admin -> Main Settings page -> Shipping & Handling do you have the checkbox "Also use for online carriers" or not? If you don't then UPS should take the $100 into count I believe.
