I had reached out to Auth.Net support regarding this, but they told me to refer to the staff here for support.
There have been several orders in which the total will be correct on our site back-end, but the transaction will show as a different total when we login to Auth.Net. For example, a recent order came to the website as its correct price, 156.37, but was shown in Auth.Net as 126.70. We couldn't fully capture the payment as we would get this error:
"The amount requested for settlement cannot be greater than the original amount authorized. The transaction was unsuccessful."
The tech I talked to says that the info they received was from us/our website, so they referred us here. We ended up having to change the shipping charge just so the transaction totals would match and we could actually capture payment.
I did turn on logging in the meantime, just so that the next time it happens, I can pull the API request log for reference
The product itself is priced correctly, as I can see on the front end of the website and when viewing the order itself in the back-end.
Please let me know if there is any additional info needed, or if I may be missing something.
