Hi, I noticed that other websites commonly use a graphic symbol resembling a person ("fa fa-user") for customer account / login links so I'm thinking about changing the minipadlock image used on the minilogin on my site to something similar. I'm not sure about the best way to do this.. I could overwrite the image, but I'm not sure if this is used elsewhere in the shopping cart. Also, I don't want to make changes that will be overwritten by future updaters. I wondered if you could advise on the best way to do this or maybe consider changing this image in a future updater.

Richard.

Hi Richard
There isn't a way to do this at the moment but it does seem like a neat thing to want to do so I'll get something sorted out for this next week.

Hi Richard
The changes are made now but as the v7.8 updater is now the new Stability Release the changes are in the incminicss.php file in the v7.9 updater. If you're not ready to go to v7.9 though you can just copy the incminicss.php script to your site.

You can now use for instance...

$GLOBALS['imgminipadlock']='<i class="fa fa-user"></i>';

$GLOBALS['imgminicart']='<i class="fa fa-shopping-cart"></i>';

$GLOBALS['imgrecentview']='<i class="fa fa-eye"></i>';

Hi Vince,

Thanks for the update. I updated the incminicss.php file initially and the minipadlock image disappeared from my site. I then added $GLOBALS['imgminipadlock']='<i class="fa fa-user"></i>'; to my includes file, but no image is showing still. I then tried doing a full update to 7.9, but still no minipadlock or alternate image showing. Am I missing something?

Richard.

Hi Vince,

Further to my previous message, after updating to 7.9.0 I noticed that the soft cart popup is showing 'VAT:£0.00' before the cart total. Is it possible to remove this?

Richard.

Hi Richard
If you are seeing the tax total now but didn't before it could be that you have changed the setting of $showtaxinclusive in your includes.php file. Could you check that?

Hi Vince,

I had $showtaxinclusive=3, but I have now removed this and the unwanted VAT message is no longer showing. I was also having difficulty getting the minilogin graphic to update, but it seems that I was uploading includes.php to the wrong directory. All is now working, thank you.

Just one more query.. Since updating to 7.9.0 I noticed there are two dustbin icons next to the search box on the adminorders.php page. Is this an error or do they serve a purpose?

Richard.
