Today my client told me to eliminate shipping from her site and to show under the price of the order "Final Shipping cost to be determined" and she will contact her customers by email about the shipping cost.

At this moment weight based shipping is set in main settings, can this be taken out and not have any other shipping marked?

And is there a parameter for example for includes.php where I can arrange for the "Final shipping...." to show?

Thanks in advance. These problems have been going on for several months because she changes her mind constantly.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems and you could easily change the text from "Shipping Estimate" to "Final Shipping cost to be determined" but if you remove shipping then you just won't get a shipping line. I really would try to talk to the customer about what they want as shipping and get the problem sorted out.

Morning Vince. I have the impression that this client will have ongoing problems with shipping. I explained that The system will be calculating shipping and/or handling near the real amount charged by USPS and getting maybe a dollar more or less than what she has to pay are "cost of doing business" but she just does not understand this. Shipping on this site has been changed constantly since beginning of June.

I have set up mock shipping on the last 15 orders under different circumstances and asked her to give me the real shipping for these. But she just does not answer these emails. She also does not give me detailed information. Her last info was "Customer is charged $ 40.00 for an order of 1 brush but she did not know which one or the State where this customer lives. This brush order does not show in orders, as the customer contacted her by email and then did not continue the order.

I also know that the weight in several products is wrong, even sent her a list where I think it is wrong but this email was answered with "the weights are ok"

So, in order to give the client what she wants at this moment, do I leave weight based shipping active and change just change the text from "Shipping Estimate" to "Final Shipping......"?
