Currently utilizing "Custom 1" & "Custom 2" for some product information. Was thinking about setting up additional custom fields in the database, however; it would be more convenient if they were accessible right from the adminprods.php page, instead of making a custom interface to tie to those fields. Has anyone done anything like this?

The reason for the additional fields would not be to publish on the customer facing pages, but for internal reference (Vendor, Purchase Cost, Cost Updated Date, Etc.).

When you add the custom fields, it is possible to show them in the admin without showing them on the front facing website.
You should see them in the product detail listing in the admin, and you can add a line to your includes to make them accessible on the quick entry drop down.
Do you need help with that?
If so, we need to mow if this is .asp or .php

The Quick Entry visual would be great. Is it possible to add it to "vsadmin/adminprods.php" also? I was going to attempt this, but I thought there may be a chance that with each update, they would automatically get removed?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, adminprods is where you can use it on the quick entry and with some settings in includes, you will see them when you "modify" a product.
