I have a category that is used to display FREE items.
The category has a coupon assigned to it, a Percentage Discount of 100%

Each item connected to the FREE category shows the current price, and the discount label shows.

When you go into the cart it shows as $00.00

But I find it a bit confusing the user sees the full price UNTIL they go into the cart.

Am I doing this wrong? I would like the item to show $00.00 at any stage of the process. Meaning when they do a search, look throughout the site, etc, they should see $00.00 for the item.

Is this possible to do?

Hi, easy - do away with the coupon and set the product price to zero.
Wouldn't that fix it the way you want?

Thanks Dave, I just thought disconnecting from the FREE category would be easier to do if I had 20+ freebies... (instead of going through all 20 of them)

but you think this is the only way currently?

Yes, I think so.
If they are all in the same category, use the quick entry to handle that in a matter of seconds. No need to go into each product.
