Vince has been working on an update to the stats area that will show the sold products in a period of time, with breakdowns for options. This will go a long way to help forecasting future sales based on the items sold. Sure it's not a foolproof way of forecasting but if you know you sold 100 of an item in the last 1 month and are out of that item, you know not to restock just 5 more.

This feature is so needed and thank you Vince for adding it.

This will help me tremendously.

I have downloaded the latest update and so far it looks great.

Thanks,

Patrick

Cheers Vince

I can see this being a very worthwhile feature.

You guys will love this. Up to now I had to download the stock, then download the orders details and then put them into a spreadsheet my son had made to covert the data. Now its one click!

I've been searching the forum for a solution to my problem and this is exactly what I need, but I can't figure out how to show the screen you've got there with the options info?
Am I missing a checkbox somewhere or something?

I've found it on my WordPress site, but it's, actually my asp site that I need this for.
Are the same features not available on asp/php?

Normally the ASP and PHP versions have exactly the same features but in this case there was a bit of a problem with the SQL query for the MS Access database. But SQL Server and mySQL are ok so hopefully you are using one of those and I've added the changes necessary to the v7.9 updater in the incstats.asp file.

Thank you Vince, I have just updated and I am still not seeing the option to view stats for product options?

Hi Gemma
The option should be "Stock Totals" but if you aren't seeing it, are you using a MS Access database?

I'm seeing that option on my php (wordpress) site, but not on the asp one which is the site I would find that info really helpful for.

I'm not even sure what sort of database I am using (it feels like a million years since it was all set up! lol), or how I would go about finding out. I'm with servelink if that makes any difference, do they use a particular type of database do you know?

I have logged into my servelink client area and I can't even find a database in the 'databases' section that says it's connected to my lastingtouch.co.uk site. Obviously there is one, but it's not listed under databases.

I looked in the data folder using cuteftp and my database file ends .mdb so I assume that means it's a microsoft database? If so is there any way to easily change it so that I can access all the features or is that going to be a massive technical job?
