Having a problem with FedEX when a package exceeds 110 pounds. At a 110 pounds the shipping is around $250. At 111, it is around $650. The "splitpackat" is set at 70 pounds. Does it not work with FedEX as I see in the help files it only mentions UPS and USPS.

Side note, when I tested those weights through FedEX's website using one box, the price also jumps dramatically gong from 100 to 111 pounds, so obviously 110 pounds is a cutoff set by FedEX for one box.

Hi Marshall, try this...
Go to Admin>Store Admin>Store Settings>Enable XML / JSON request Logging:
Turn that on and try the test order again.
Then turn that off and go to your Activity and check what's being sent to fedex.
I used fedex for years, the splitpackat setting should work.

Thanks,
David

I will give it a try. Thanks, David.

I did what you said, though I have no idea what it means.
What exactly am I looking for in the Event Data popup?

On the outbound call typically you can see what's being sent to fedex.
Can you post it here?

I assume you are referring to the Request and not the Response?

I noticed it has residential as 'true' though it was not set for residential delivery. It that determined by FedEx?

It does show one package for 117.0 lbs.
For FedEx, there is no residential and commercial - if Fedex Ground is selected that is a commercial delivery.
If FedEx Home Delivery is selected, that is a residential delivery and the rates reflect that.
In your original post you wrote The "splitpack" is set at 70 lbs.
Please check to be sure that is actually splitpackat=70

Thanks,
David
