I have getting errors. Hoping to get some help and direction. I can provide more detail and screen captures via PM as some of this has my folder structure in it. I put xxx's in place of the folder info in the example below.

Deprecated: Non-canonical cast (double) is deprecated, use the (float) cast instead in xxxxxxxxx on line 102

There are actually quite a lot of lines of this with different line numbers.

Hi, being on .php and seeing the "depreciated" error, it's likely a php version update causing this.
Have you, or your host bumped up your .php version.

I did find this online - PHP Version: This change was introduced in PHP 8.5, where non-canonical cast names were deprecated.
So if you are on php 8.5, perhaps you can roll that back a version or two and the error should go away.
I'm not sure if the changes have been made in the cart for version 8.5 yet - Vince should be able to answer that, but in the meantime, post back with the version of the cart you are on,m and the version of PHP running on the server.

Thanks,
David

Hi Frank
I've just added some changes to the updater that should help with this. If you get a new version of the updater and apply that fully then it should sort this problems out.

I updated yesterday to 7.9.2 before I posted thinking it might fix my issue but it didn't. I'll check and see what version of PHP I'm on now. Unfortunately my host lists Not Available under the version, so I'll have to get a hold of them.

Edit: Actually I see on the ET dashboard under debug info is says PHP Version: 8.5.2. Nice. Appreciate that little feature.
