Hi Six Robblees I'm not 100% sure what you mean by core charges but assumed someone else would know. But maybe if you explain a bit more about what you mean it would be easier to answer?
If it were my store, I would setup the core charge as a product option - you can make it mandatory if needed. Then using Ship Station, I would set it up to print a return label to include in the shipment. This gives the customer the easiest solution.
Once the core comes back, I would refund the core charge.

I had to look it up, we call it a surcharge in the UK
