I'm seeing this notice on my shopping cart checkout page: "Authorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect.
Too Many Requests" What's happening? Thanks, Bob

Where exactly do you see this? Shipping carriers?
If so, which one?
Thanks,
David

I did integrate to the new USPS app. Perhaps I goofed up, Bob

Check your USPS setup.
Recently Vince posted this...

quote:
1. Log In/Create USPS Business Account

Use the USPS Customer Onboarding Portal (https://cop.usps.com/cop-navigator?wf=API&showCC=false), sign into your USPS Business Account, or create a new USPS Business Account. The COP will ensure that your USPS Business Account is configured for the USPS APIs.

2. Create an App

After finishing account setup through the COP, select My Apps on the top of the COP Business Portal page.

3. Retrieve your Consumer Key and Secret

Within COP, select your App and retrieve your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from the Credentials section. These credentials are required for generating the OAuth Token.

Then just take this Consumer Key and Secret and enter them in your ECT Admin.

I did all of the above. Still getting the error message. Do I need to open a USPS payment account? Do I need to fill the "account #" field on the USPS ADMIN page? Ig so, with what? Thanks, Bob

Let's back up a moment - Please check your admin for the version of the cart you are on.
Please respond with that.
Thanks,
David

Sure. Ecommerce Plus PHP v7.8.9. Just bought an updater and had Vince install it. Thanks, Bob

I just checked your admin and it seems that the USPS oAuth credentials you have entered are not looking correct. Could you please send what you have for the consumer key and secret to my email (vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com) and I'll see if they are ok.

Vince

Vince, I believe I just made a dumb mistake regarding consumer key and secret. I'll reenter my stuff and see what it looks like. On a related note, do I need to enter anythiny in the account # field? Thanks for for time, Bob
