 Error after Payment page

Hi - getting constant errors after customers pay for their item. It used to be random but now is happening all of the time. I updated the software and it didn't resolve the issue.

Basically, after a customer pays (processor is PayPal), the page reloads and spits out "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred."

An email from PayPal is received that they paid.
The transaction is marked unauthorized in the Admin portion of the site.

Any clue where to start digging?

Hi oneeyedesigns
Are you using the new PayPal Checkout rather than the old deprecated PayPal Direct, Standard, etc?
Is the page that has the error the thanks.asp page? And can you see an indication of the error in the server logs?

Holy smokes - that was it. After I updated the software, I configured the new PayPal settings but apparently never hit the "enable" checkbox. Been using your software for so long but forgot one of the most basic steps.
