Hi

I'm trying to avoid orders with shipping to Puerto Rico. Fedex rejects it but my Weight / Price Based option allows it. I have the State disable but still if you input PR zip code it allows it. Same with Hawaii and Virgin Islands. Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi, I use UPS along with weight based shipping and I do not have this issue.
Perhaps you need to review your setup for the price/weight based shipping.
Under "States Zone Rules.", you should have Puerto Rico listed and under that, you should set max price (or weight) to a very high number like 999999 and the rate should be set to x
Which means it's disabled.
I would also set this under World Zone Rules...

I removed PR as a State so using the checkout you are unable to select it, but this customer used his Paypal account and it went through somehow.

So it seems we are taking about two different things.
The states selection has to do with carrier shipping such as fedex, ups and usps.
It has no impact on your price/weight based setujp.
So under states and both countries, you need to check to be sure Puerto Rico is disabled - It's listed under both.
But then if you are using price/weight based shipping you need to have that setup to disallow Puerto Rico.
