A customer thought my abandoned cart email was a scam. The link that comes from %abandonedcartid% looks long and suspicious.

Is it possible to change it?

For example, change

https://www.sampleexample.com/cart.php?acartid=100534332&acarthash=278857096dc484a2a3db40ad6f56f388

to something like: a hyperlink "Click this link to get to your cart"

Have you tried to wrap the link in a friendly name?
You can make edits to that in Main Settings > Email Messages > Abandoned Cart Email
Try wrapping %abandonedcartid% into a link <a href="%abandonedcartid%">Review Your Cart</a>
I would also dress up the email with your company logo and contact info, if you haven't already.
Perhaps make use of the %ordername% %orderdate% fields as well to make it more personal.

Yes I have it looking decent with a logo and things.

I think with all the scams, people are becoming more vigilant.
