This is totally unsolicited, but I think a good product needs a trumpet in case you may have missed it. I could post on the developers site but it might be missed there if you don't visit the ECT developer's sites. I have used Mike, Phil and Daniel for various mods & add-ons and have been very satisfied with what they have done. A shout out to Vince and Andy who have done things for us as well. This is a great group of support.

We have an online presence as well as a warehouse, 2 delivery trucks, we also do drop ships from suppliers that may or may not have stock at the time. With that said our inventory is spread out and ever changing. Sometimes inventory is off with all these variables. We don't want to charge a credit card until order is completely fulfilled or has shipped from manufacturer as complete. Here comes in Phil Matthews (Betta Pages) capture card add-on, it works as advertised !! We had a custom mod on this before, and we were always hesitant (scared, is really better words) to upgrade the cart because we would lose the mod. But his add-on makes that worry disappear. I have now, worry-freed, updated our cart twice since I bought it. It's encrypted so I feel safe if we got hacked, I don't think credit card info is likely to get stolen.

Phil, you are very welcome. I know there is probably a small group like us out there with such issues (hard to believe). But we are out there and and face some supplier confusion / supply chain mess going on with COVID they deal with, some can't find truckers, warehouse workers or anyone that wants to work now days and . . . Googly Moogly, this add-on has been a big plus to have playing catchup or even the hiccup!

There is another perk that only a user would know when it comes to fulfilling back-orders and getting paid afterwards that is a huge plus. I LOVE IT! I'm gonna stop there . . . but Phil, you know. Well Done Sir!

Use the AIM method and enter the API Login ID and Transaction Key, enable it (not demo mode) and disable the capture card.

They're using Credit Card Captcha to delay processing, then running the transaction through Authorize.net via Virtual Terminal.
