I have made some corrections to the descriptions of my inventory.

If I use the CSV file upload to update the inventory I get two options.

Update Database or Add to Database.

If I update Database I get a non descript error listed below and nothing is updated or changed.

ERROR: No value given for one or more required parameters.
Rows successfully updated 0
Rows where pID not found 0
This page took: 0.0039 seconds
Update Successful !

If I add to database then I will have duplicates of my inventory.

I had to clean up my description and long description fields. nothing else has changed or been touched.

Thanks
J

Hi J, does the file have any custom fields that are not a part of the standard csv?

Hi Sinbad,

No, I have no customizing done.

I did test another product csv download, then uploaded as an update without issue.

The problem appears to be how I am editing the file and saving it in Excel.

As I investigate and redo the file I will update.

Thanks
John
