Hi All,

After chatting to Andy, it appears this might be an issue with my site/server, but neither of us have any clue what could cause this...

If anyone has same issue, please let me know - so can try and figure out what the cause is.

thanks

I sent you another mail today and didn't mention the site / server - did you get that?

Hi Andy,

Yes I got that email, and from what you said about working for you and other clients using same version - that strongly suggests its something on my server/site causing the issue, right?

Hence trying to see if anyone else having identical issue

regards
James

Is there any updates on using MailChimp? I have configured MailChimp, but not sure how to create an email template. Do I do this at the MailChimp website or does ECT have this feature?

Thanks,
Brad

The emails would be sent out via Mailchimp so you would use their templates to create the newsletters.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this?

Like others I have had this problem from the beginning but never said anything as I thought it was me just being stupid and not using it properly or not understanding how it works. I've just been importing via csv.

I'm on v7.0.3 and it would be great if I can get this to work.

Hi Gemma

There were a couple of fixes in v7.0.2 - have you tried the sync feature since updating?

Yes, just tried it this morning. I only recently updated and this is the first email I've sent to my list since the upgrade so I thought I'd try it but it still does the same as the OP.

It says 'Sync all emails (598) with list: Lasting Touch Newsletter

When I click 'Go' it says 'No emails to sync'

Can you see if it makes any difference setting up a new list?

Hi Gemma
Sorry this problem has dragged on for a while but I had a look at the code and it seems that where the Add ALL (xxx) Emails to List message is produced, that count doesn't take into account the number that are confirmed, but when you click the button to sync, only confirmed emails are synced with the list. Could you please check and see if the email addresses are confirmed or not? Also, do you have any parameters set that might affect email confirmation such as "noconfirmationemail"?

Vince
