We regularly get requests for recommendations for contact forms, live chat, sliders, pop-ups etc and we've now partnered with POWr to provide these and much more. We have been testing out various plugins and they are all pretty cool. There's a branded trial version for each so there's no upfront costs before testing and they are incredibly easy to set up with loads of customization options.
We've chosen what we think are most likely to prove the most popular https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/powr-plugins.asp but there are more than 50 to choose from.
The great thing is the simplicity and the fact that they will work fine whatever platform you are using, ASP, PHP, Wordpress or the ECT Hosted Store.

I have added a short video tutorial for displaying an image slider on the ECT Hosted Store home page https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/ectstore/plugins.asp#integration
Adding it to a regular ASP or PHP version is pretty much the same but the code would be added via the HTML editor or as a content region in the admin.

You don't have one as you are not an ECT hosted store user. In your case you will go the other route:

A couple of quick questions on the POWR popup plugin:
People often want to use a popup on the home page, but doesn't that interfere with search engine crawlers?
Can the popup be used in conjunction with the cart page? Our intended usage is intended for ONLY for customers placing an order …
Or can the Terms & Conditions page BE the pop-up which customers have to accept BEFORE proceeding with the order? The problem now is that most do NOT read them, then they call up to complain when they do not follow instructions, which wastes the merchants time.
Thanks for your input on these questions on how to get customers to comply with order info and requirements BEFORE they place the order.
