After 15 years of running an ecommerce (template) website I am closing that part of business to focus on my much more lucrative subscription box membership. I use a different platform to handle the recurring subscriptions.

I still want to keep website for marketing purposes but I don't need the SQL server (or additional hosting fee). I may want to go back to a simpler database in case I need to do one off sales? I believe I started with an access database back in 2006 then it was upgraded by a contractor to SQL.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi,
You just need to take a backup of the database, and download all the site files to your computer.

If you're considering using a simpler database I would suggest you switch to MySql
